S. Korean Social Bodies Demand Thorough Investigation into Business Tycoons' Involvement in Scandal

| Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean online paper Voice of People said on Nov. 23 that civic and social bodies including the Citizens Solidarity for Democratic Society and the Confederation of Trade Unions demanded that the business tycoons involved in the "Park Geun Hye-Choe Sun Sil Scandal" be investigated. There took place in front of the puppet Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office a news conference where the bodies exposed the investigation into the scandal by the prosecution as the one for shielding the tycoons. The bodies urged the prosecution to conduct a full investigation into the scandal the essence of which is politics-business nexus. |
