Technicians of the Hungju Chicken Farm succeeded in producing urea protein fodder to raise the weight increment of chickens and introduced an automatic candling machine into hatching.

The Sinuiju Chicken Farm made such achievements as raising the absorption rate of fodder to increase the per-egg weight.

The Kwangpho Duck Farm have produced hundreds tons of animal protein fodder every year and reared 1.3 times more ducky this year than last.

Meanwhile, the Army-People Ryongchon Pig Farm and Phyongbuk Pig Farm put their production under scientific veterinary and anti-epizootic system and raise the proportion of non-cereal feed based on compound lactobacilli, thus producing much more meat.
