The organization said that all citizens across south Korea on Nov. 30 would give up their work and take part in the general strike and other actions demanding Park Geun Hye's resignation and hold candlelight rallies in each province and city, timed to coincide with a large-scale candlelight meeting to be held at the plaza of Kwanghwamun in Seoul in the evening.

A declaration on "Day of the first general strike and citizens' disobedience" was read out at the conference.

The declaration said it is a humiliation for Park Geun Hye to prolong her remaining days in power though she finds herself in the abyss of ruin and it is a bitter disgrace to the poulation.

We will surely bring the Park Geun Hye regime to the scaffold of history, through two million-people candlelight resistance, general strike and citizens' disobedience, it stated.
