Going round mines and enterprise in the area of Komdok associated with the feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il, the premier encouraged their officials and workers in the efforts for productive success.

He stressed the need for those mines and enterprise to keep their facilities in full-capacity operation and put them on a modern basis in order to produce more minerals and thus become honorable victors in the 200-day campaign of loyalty to make a breakthrough in carrying out the five-year strategy for national economic development.

He also visited the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex and the Sangnong Mine.
