The committee with Yehia Zakaria Khairullah, vice-chairman of the Socialist Freedom Party of Egypt, chairman of the Egypt-Korea Friendship Association and chairman of the Arab regional preparatory committee for the 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, as its chairman, comprises personages of Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Sudan and other Arab countries.

It decided to widely organize political and cultural events in praise of the revolutionary career and exploits of leader Kim Jong Il from Nov. 25 to Dec. 20.
