Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, noted that Kim Jong Il made public his works proving the scientific accuracy of socialism and the inevitability of its victory, when the imperialists made a fuss about the "complete end of socialism" by taking advantage of the collapse of socialism in some countries, and reliably defended the sovereignty and dignity of the DPRK with his unique Songun politics.

He praised the career of Kim Jong Il who dedicated his all to the country and people.

Miriam Pelegrini Peri, president of the Group of Dialectical Materialists of Italy and chairwoman of the Italian Committee for the Study of Songun Idea for Independence and Sovereignty, said:
