"State-compiled Textbooks" Rejected by Opposition Parties in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- Opposition parties of south Korea condemned the Park Geun Hye group for having made public to-be-screened copies of "state-compiled history textbooks" on Monday despite the protest of various circles, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Saram Ilbo. A parliamentary spokesperson for the Minju Party contended that the "state-compiled textbooks" should be repealed as they go against the common sense of the era and trend of history. The floor leader of the Jongui Party criticized the introduction of "state-compiled history textbooks" as part of the tactics aimed to distort history and thus erase the traces of pro-Japanese elements. |
