Repeal of "State-compiled" History Textbooks Urged in S. Korea
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A network against "state-compiled textbooks" in south Korea held a press conference at the plaza of Kwanghwamun in Seoul on Nov. 27 in demand of the repeal of "state-compiled history textbooks", according to the south Korean internet newspaper Voice of People.

Speakers at the conference disclosed that the "state-compiled textbooks" include distorted content, contrary to the facts asserted by the academic circle.

They denounced the Park Geun Hye group's fabrication of "state-compiled textbooks" as a history coup to beautify the May 16 military coup as the "revolution for modernization" and deny the spirit of the March First and April 19 popular uprisings.
