Development of New Food Products Gains Momentum in DPRK
Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A number of achievements have been made in the foodstuff industry of the DPRK.

It was well evidenced by the 27th National Exhibition of Consumer Goods, the 6th National Exhibition of Liquor and Essential Foodstuff and the National Exhibition of Children's Foodstuff held some days ago.

The Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory has developed various kinds of baby powders, soya milk powders with different fruit flavors, thin gruel and other products.

The Pyongyang Essential Foodstuff Factory was equipped with such processes as producing fermented soybean, soya-sauced boiled sandfish and others.

The Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory succeeded in producing over 10 kinds of sweets and cakes with starch syrup, while the Paeksong General Foodstuff Factory developed spirulina functional foodstuffs.

Similar successes have also been witnessed at foodstuff factories throughout the country.
