Attending it were officials, scientists, technicians, researchers, teachers, students and post-graduate students of Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, University of Sciences, State Academy of Sciences and other units.

Presented to it, sponsored by the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, were more than 60 research papers related to the production of cooking fuel and the improvement of its quality.

The participants exchanged successes and experience gained in developing the fuel industry on a scientific basis such as making effective use of the country's fuel resources, introducing efficacious additives for combustion and solving the issue of heat energy with alternative fuel.

Lectures were given during the presentation.
