Present there were teachers, researchers, technicians and three-revolution team members, post-graduate students and workers from different units including Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Pyongyang University of Railways, the Electricity Institute of the State Academy of Sciences, the Pukchang Thermal Power Complex and the South Hamgyong Provincial Power Distribution Station.

Introduced at the presentation, divided into panels of the power industry and the electrical machine and appliance, were more than 60 papers dealing with achievements made in researches into the rational use and management of electricity and the development of new-type electricity-saving equipment.
