The statement said:

The memorandum disclosed the aggressive and hostile policy towards the DPRK pursued by the Obama administration of the U.S. during the last five years and proved the validity of the DPRK's increase of nuclear force.

From 2012 just after leader Kim Jong Il passed away, the U.S. has more openly pursued its scheme to undermine the DPRK and bring down its socialist system.

The U.S. committed many provocations against the DPRK in collusion with its followers. It also resorted to sanctions against the DPRK by abusing the UN Security Council.

In particular, it got hell-bent in the joint military exercises aimed at "removing the supreme leadership" of the DPRK and "occupying Pyongyang".

The DPRK has constantly bolstered up its nuclear deterrence to cope with all those criminal war moves of the U.S.

The DPRK's access to nukes and increase of nuclear force are a self-defensive option for shattering the U.S. imperialists' aggression moves.

The DPRK had access to nuclear weapons in order to defend its sovereignty and dignity.

The U.S. should recognize the DPRK's position as a nuclear weapons state and roll back its hostile policy towards the latter.
