Choe Ryong Hae conveyed verbal condolences of Kim Jong Un, chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea, chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, to Raul Castro Ruz, first secretary of the C.C., Communist Party of Cuba, president of the Council of State and president of the Council of Ministers of Cuba.

Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa expressed deep thanks on behalf of the Cuban party and people for the fact that supreme leader Kim Jong Un visited the Cuban Embassy in Pyongyang to mourn the demise of Fidel Castro Ruz and dispatched a DPRK party and state delegation to Cuba.

He said that the friendship between the two countries having the most solid and fraternal relations incomparable with any ties in the world under the special care of Kim Jong Un and Raul Castro Ruz is steadily growing stronger.

Thanking once again for Kim Jong Un's care for Cuba and the Korean people's sincere international support to the Cuban people, Salvador Antonio Valdes Mesa hoped that the DPRK would achieve greater successes in building a socialist power and realize the country's reunification by the concerted efforts of the nation free from foreign interference as early as possible.

Cuba will invariably carry forward the idea and cause of Fidel Castro Ruz who founded a country for the people and devoted his whole life to them and defend socialism to the last, he added.
