Symposium on Greenhouse Vegetable Farming Opens

| Pyongyang, December 1 (KCNA) -- The 2016 sci-tech symposium on greenhouse vegetable farming opened with due ceremony at the Pyongyang Vegetable Science Institute under the Academy of Agricultural Science Thursday. A workshop and lecture on exterminating harmful insects and soil conservation, presentation of sci-tech research successes and experience and a video show will be held during the symposium. Present at the ceremony were Kwak Pom Gi, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and other senior officials. Ko In Ho, vice-premier and concurrently minister of Agriculture, made an inaugural address. The symposium will last till Dec. 7. |
