Public Protests to Remove Park Geun Hye from Power Launched across S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The "first general strike and day of citizens' disobedience" campaign was simultaneously launched throughout south Korea on Nov. 30 in order to remove Park Geun Hye at any cost as she is evading the responsibility for the scandal and rejecting the demands for her resignation despite the strong protests and condemnations by the south Korean people from all walks of life, according to reports.

The Confederation of Trade Unions simultaneously waged a general strike in 16 parts of south Korea in demand of the resignation of Park who mercilessly trampled the life of the workers by enforcing the pro-plutocrats policy, and the repeal of the policy.

More than 1,500 traders declared the campaign and joined in the rally of the confederation for the general strike.
