In the message Kim Jong Un sent warm congratulations to the Lao president and the fraternal and friendly party, government and people of Laos on the 41st founding anniversary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

For 41 years the Lao government and people have achieved great successes in the work for defending the country and building the state under the correct leadership of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the message said.

Expressing belief that the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two parties and two countries provided by the preceding leaders would continue to develop in the interests of the two peoples, the message sincerely wished the Lao president happiness in good health and bigger successes in his responsible work.
