Participants in 8th UAWK Congress Visit Mangyongdae
Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- The participants in the 8th Congress of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung.

They laid bunches of flowers before the graves of Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik and the graves of Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok and observed a moment's silence in memory of them.

At the old low-roofed thatched house in Mangyongdae, they looked round historic relics preserved with much care.

They also went to the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong to place bunches of flowers before the bust of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

They visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum and made bows to the statue of Kim Il Sung waving back to the columns of the military parade at the square for celebrating the victory in the war.

They laid bouquets at the sculpture "Victory" in the Monument to the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War and paid tribute to the victors of the great years and wen round various places of the museum.

They toured the Fatherland Liberation War Martyrs Cemetery and the Sci-Tech Complex and the National House of Class Education.
