Resumption of North-South Cooperation Urged in S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The Christian Presbyterian Church of south Korea held a mass for peaceful reunification in Seoul on Dec. 5, demanding the resumption of cooperation between the north and the south, according to CBS of south Korea. The chairman of the Emergency Measure Committee for South-North Economic Cooperation Businesses said that 18 years ago the tour of Mt. Kumgang started, sowing seeds for peace, but now everything has been stopped. He strongly urged the "government" to resume tour of Mt. Kumgang and come out for restoring the vital rights of businessmen who had been involved in the cooperation with the north and are now suffering from the stalemate of the south-north relations. |
