DPRK Doctorate in Linguistics Conferred on Overseas Compatriot and Chinese Graduate Student

| Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The DPRK doctorate in linguistics was conferred on Jang Song Il, a Korean teacher at the Yanbian University of China, and Niu Xiao, a Chinese graduate student of Kim Il Sung University. They contributed to putting the structural features of accent of Pyongyang cultured language on a scientific basis and setting right misuses of words by foreigners in learning Korean. An awarding-ceremony took place at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Wednesday. |
