Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Thursday says:

We can never acknowledge the "human rights resolution" as it is not worth even a passing note.

But we cannot but reveal the true colors of the U.S. and its henchmen now that they are styling themselves "exemplary nations in terms of human rights" and "human rights judges" while misleading the public opinion and branding the DPRK as a "human rights abuser".

The U.S. is the empire of evil which has committed the cruelest human rights abuses not only in its own country but in different parts of the world.

It was exactly the U.S. which caused a big furor in the world by barbarously torturing prisoners at secret prisons it built in different parts of the world.

The same is the case with Japan where one is vulnerable to all crimes that have become daily occurrences there.

The same can be said of Britain and some other European countries which professes model of human rights performance.

Such countries with the world's poorest human rights records drafted the "resolution" and those countries that are used to blindly follow them raised their hands to pass the recent "human rights resolution" against the DPRK.

This is the inveterate and hidebound bad habit of the hostile forces to fault others to meet their own interests even by cooking up fictions through lies and swindles.

The commentary urges the U.S. and its yes-men to be more concerned about correcting their own mistakes, rather than concentrating on doing harm to others by using misinformation.
