Bill on Impeachment of Park Geun Hye Passed through NA of S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- A bill on impeachment of Park Geun Hye, the chief executive of south Korea, was passed through the "National Assembly" on Friday amid the strong demand of the civic and social bodies, opposition parties and people of various circles for her resignation, according to media reports from Seoul.

234 of 299 lawmakers who took part in the vote at the NA said yes to the impeachment of Park.

Reporting the results of the vote, CBS of south Korea said Park would be ousted if the "constitutional court" decides on the impeachment within six months.
