Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- A symposium took place at the Korean Hall in Tokyo on Dec. 10 to mark the 30th publication anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il's work "On Further Improving the Work of Chongryon in Line with the Demands of the Developing Situation".

The work, published on Sept. 15, 1986, serves as the eternal guidelines for the movement of Koreans in Japan whose truth and vitality have been confirmed through practice, the reporter said.

Other speakers mentioned the work's validity and vitality, noting that the work underscores the need for Chongryon to steadily hold aloft the banner of the Juche idea and conduct on a fresh manner the work of consolidating its ranks in an organized way in line with new situation.
