Rodong Sinmun Discloses Japan's Intention of Arms Buildup
Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- The Japanese government set out to get preparation in real earnest for the deployment of THAAD, according to foreign reports.

The Japanese government is mapping out a plan to spend 188 billion yen for the introduction of an improved version of "Patriot-3" interceptor missile and 7 billion yen for mounting interceptor missile system on Aegis ships this fiscal year.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary discloses that the purpose of the Japanese reactionaries in giving spurs to arms buildup is to equip the "Self-Defence Forces" with the latest weapons and expand and use them at a time of reinvasion of Asia.

But, Japan is seriously mistaken, the commentary says, and goes on:

It is foolish to think it can remain safe after hitting others easily with THAAD.

Japan's THAAD deployment is tantamount to endangering the strategic security circumstances on the Korean peninsula. That is why we can not overlook such action.

We do not hide the fact that we are ready both for attack and defense.

We will blow up the bases of aggressors and sworn enemies in a flash where they might be as they have harassed the Korean nation for many years.

Before taking the road of reinvasion, the Japanese reactionaries had better think twice if the island nation of theirs can survive.
