Minju Joson Discloses U.S. Aim in Seeking Drone Monopolization
Pyongyang, December 13 (KCNA) -- Lately the U.S. seeks monopolization of drones, arousing high vigilance of the international community, says Minju Joson Tuesday in a commentary.

By ascribing its necessity to armed disputes and human rights, the U.S. is trying to convince the public that it is concerned for peace, stability and human rights. But it is clear to every one that the true aim sought by the U.S. is to monopolize drones, the commentary notes, and goes on:

The drones to which ultramodern science and technology have been applied have largely changed the mode of fighting wars in modern days.

In a word, drones have been accepted to be the most effective means in modern wars.

The U.S. is very much afraid of these drones, which it calls "angel", turning into powerful "devils" in the hands of its strategic rivals.

In fact, drone development is active worldwide and not a few countries are making active use of it in military field.

The U.S. calculation is that it has to monopolize drones in order to deter its strategic rivals.

The U.S. has long been hell-bent on realizing its ambition for world domination based on nuclear upper-hand, while sharing nuclear monopolization with major powers through the Nuclear Non-proliferation Treaty. It now seeks to apply the same way in enacting a law on drone non-proliferation and then get all countries of the world bound to it in a bid to monopolize drones.

If the U.S. monopolization of drones is allowed, international justice will again be harshly violated, world peace be harassed and lots of people will lose their lives.

Lethal weapons should not be given to blood-thirsty criminals.
