They are Om Yun Chol, Rim Jong Sim, Ri Se Gwang, Kim Song I, Kim Song Guk, Pak Myong Won, Pak Chol, Kim Hye Song, Jon Chol and Kang Un Ju.

During the 31st Olympic Games, Rim Jong Sim won a gold medal in the women's 75kg weightlifting event and Ri Se Gwang in the men's vault of gymnastics. And Om Yun Chol bagged a silver medal in the men's 56kg weightlifting event, Kim Song I a bronze in the women's single table tennis event and Kim Song Guk in the men's 50m pistol event.

Pak Myong Won took the second place in the adult men's individual 10 meter moving target shooting and 10 meter moving target mixed shooting events and the third in the 50 meter moving target mixed shooting event of the 2016 World Moving Target Shooting Championship.

Pak Chol placed the first in the Mangyongdae Prize International Marathon and Kim Hye Song the second in the half marathon of the Great Eastern Women's Run held in Singapore.

Jon Chol made a new national record in archery event of the Mangyongdae Prize Sports Games, and Kang Un Ju in archery event at the Sports Contest for Pochonbo Torch Prize and renewed her record in the 13th People's Games.
