Meetings of Working People's Organizations Observe Demise Anniversary of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- Working people's organizations in the DPRK held oath-taking meetings on Thursday with the fifth anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il as an occasion. Youth and students met in front of the statues of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill, agricultural workers and members of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) at the Unha Co-op Farm in Onchon County, Nampho City and officials and members of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) at the Hall of Women. Present there were Choe Ryong Hae, vice-chairman of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of the youth league, the UAWK and the SWUK, youths and students, agricultural workers and members of the UAWK and SWUK. At the oath-taking meeting of youths and students, the participants, led by Jon Yong Nam, first secretary of the Central Committee of the youth league, swore an oath to remain loyal to supreme leader Kim Jong Un's Songun revolutionary leadership, true to the behests of Kim Jong Il. Reports were made to be followed by speeches at the meetings of agricultural workers and members of the UAWK, officials and member of the SWUK. The reporters and speakers praised the whole life of Kim Jong Il as that of an outstanding leader who opened a new history of building a powerful socialist country, giving steady continuity to the bloodline of the Juche revolution that struck deep roots in Mt. Paektu. They called for turning out as one in the struggle to devotedly carry out the behests of Kim Jong Il with the unshakable faith that he will always be with us. |
