A lawmaker of Venezuela said that Kim Jong Il being revered by the world is the savior of humankind who defended the socialist cause and dynamically advanced it, adding they had a firm conviction of victory of socialism as Korean socialism is steadfast.

Andres Gasca Sanchez, president of the Mexican Friend Association for Memory of President Kim Il Sung and Leader Kim Jong Il, praised Kim Jong Il for turning the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power by successfully carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Songun pioneered by Kim Il Sung and for providing the June 15 North-South Joint Declaration and the October 4 declaration, great programmes for reunification common to the Korean nation, with his bold decision of loving the country and the nation.
