8th All-People Action Staged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- The 8th all-people action was reportedly staged in over 80 parts of south Korea simultaneously on Dec. 17, under the sponsorship of the People's Emergency Action to Bring down the Park Geun Hye regime. At least 770,000 people of all social standings took part in the action. In Seoul, hundreds of thousands of people conducted various actions for the immediate resignation of the Park group before holding candlelight rally. In Kwangju, more than 30,000 citizens held a candlelight rally, chanting such slogans as "President, step down at once," "Hwang Kyo An is as guilty as Park Geun Hye" and "Punish Hwang". In the meantime, similar candlelight actions were in North Kyongsang Province, South Chungchong Province and all other parts of south Korea. |
