One of them is the Thongchon Fishery Station which netted 1.8 times more fish year-on-year in November and early December this year. The station is now catching scores of tons of fish on a daily basis in recent days.

In this regard, Ri Yong Jin, manager of the station, told KCNA:

The station has correctly commanded ships in this fishing campaign. All ships are well equipped with fishing tackles like gill-net and wall-net and communication means to raise fishing efficiency.

And the improvement of lighting apparatuses and winch capacity makes it possible to double the amount of catch per netting and ship.
