Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Demise Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Newspapers and websites of different countries gave special write-ups to the 5th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The Nepalese newspaper Arpan on Dec. 9 carried an article titled "Eternal leader of Korean people," illustrated with a portrait of smiling Kim Jong Il.

It lauded the feats of Kim Jong Il who developed in depth the Juche idea, the Songun idea fathered by President Kim Il Sung so that the Korean people could keep to the road of independence, Songun and socialism.

On the same day the Nepal Journalist Association for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Politics and the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association posted similar articles on their websites.

An Indonesian online newspaper on Dec. 6 stressed in an article that Kim Jong Il is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people, adding: His ideas and theories serve as an eternal banner of illumining the way of struggle to be followed by the Korean people advancing toward socialism

The Bangladeshi paper the Daily Folk on Dec. 8 carried an article titled "Kim Jong Il, world-famous outstanding leader", which quoted what prominent personages of different countries have said, deeply moved by his noble personality.

The Indian paper Awaking on Dec. 9 carried an article under the title of "Ushering in a new era of independent reunification" which praised Kim Jong Il's feats.

Another Indian paper New Delhi Times on Dec. 2 ran an article dealing with the self-development capability, an ever-victorious treasured sword of the Korean people.
