Commenting on this, Rodong Sinmun Tuesday in a commentary brands his remarks as jargons of the living dead as he maliciously slandered the DPRK not only from the first days of his office but also today when he is almost serving out his office.

The commentary points out the reason why the U.S. deliberately keeps the vicious cycle of escalating tension while ceaselessly conducting the most offensive and aggressive joint military exercises only on the Korean Peninsula out of various Asia-Pacific regions and steadily increasing their frequency and scale.

It discloses that the U.S. purpose is to stifle the DPRK by steadily escalating tension on the peninsula in a cycle and push forward its Asia-Pacific rebalancing strategy for containing neighboring countries.

The U.S. moves for stifling the DPRK are little short of a daydream, the commentary says, warning:

As long as the U.S. ruling quarters get more frantic in their moves for aggression and a war against the DPRK, they will find themselves in more serious situation in which they can not ensure security on its mainland.
