S. Korea: Ministry of Education Censured for "State-compiled History Textbooks"
Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- The Council of Superintendents of Education in south Korea, consisting of 17 city and provincial superintendents of education, held an emergency meeting for checking the introduction of "state-compiled history textbooks" at Seoul Railway Station on Dec. 17, according to the south Korean newspaper Hangyore.

In a statement the organization denounced the minister of Education for persisting in the "system of introducing state-compiled history textbooks", one of wrong policies of Park Geun Hye.

And it demanded an immediate stop to the "introduction of state-compiled history textbooks" and the prompt resignation of the minister of Education and other "government" officials who took the lead in the "introduction".

The organization said that an immediate stop to the wrong policies and the repeal of all of them are a shortcut to setting right the chaotic situation.
