Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Minju Joson Wednesday carries a commentary contributed by Kim Hong Hwi, a researcher of the Institute for Japan Studies. Japan is impatient to bring into relief the "missile threat" from the DPRK, the commentary says, adding: Kyodo News reported that the Japanese government is examining a plan for evacuation drill of citizens under the simulated condition of the DPRK's ballistic missile launch in March of next year. Japan also plans to make a decision on new fiscal state budget in the offing days the defence budget of which is estimated to reach the biggest-ever of 5 100 billion yen, and one of its core parts is the formation of theatre missile defense system to cope with the DPRK's missile. As can be known by this, Japan is seeking to claim the "missile threat" from the DPRK as a pretext of its arms buildup. Talking about the non-existent "missile threat" from the DPRK, Japan is working hard to foster consciousness of extreme security crisis among its people and avail itself of the opportunity to make preparations in real earnest for overseas militarist aggression. But, Japan's tricky method would get it nowhere The international community including surrounding countries of Japan is expressing strong vigilance against its moves to realize the ambition of reinvasion that would wreck peace and stability. If Japan continues to follow the road of making provocations for a war, defying the demand of international community, this will entail foolish consequences of inviting its own ruin. If the Japanese reactionaries sincerely want security on Japan's archipelago, they should behave with prudence and self-control. |
