Pyongyang, December 21 (KCNA) -- Anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk created several embroideries in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle, thus making a tangible contribution to developing the revolutionary embroidery. One of them is embroidery "Longing for Liberated Homeland" she completed on the threshold of the great event of national liberation. Saying that the life of all creatures would have been unthinkable without the sun, she embroidered the sun in praise of President Kim Il Sung. Seen in the embroidery are also the beautiful scenery of Samsonam in Mt. Kumgang, deer and birds in a thick pine grove on a hill and cranes flying over it. The embroidery symbolically shows the rapture over national liberation and the glory of liberated Korea having Kim Il Sung as the sun of the nation. |
