It is none other than the U.S. and the south Korean puppet group of traitors that spawned the nuclear issue on the Korean peninsula and seriously disturbed peace and security on the peninsula and in Northeast Asia through their persistent nuclear blackmail and threat to the DPRK.

This being a hard reality, they fabricated the "sanctions resolution" again, branding the DPRK's nuclear warhead explosion test as "threat to global peace and security." It is a revelation of deep-rooted hostility and repugnancy, extreme arrogance and arbitrary practices against the DPRK.

The DPRK remains unchanged in its stand to fight against the U.S. and its vassal forces' brigandish sanctions and pressure with the might of single-minded unity and self-reliance and self-development and the toughest countermeasure to firmly defend the nation's dignity and sovereignty.

The U.S. and the puppet group's desperate efforts to ratchet up sanctions and moves to stifle the DPRK are as foolish an act as pricking their own eyes with their own fingers.

The DPRK is building the most powerful country in the world on the basis of the self-defensive military capability with nuclear deterrent as the pivot. Therefore, the hostile forces' "independent, collective and additional sanctions" can never work on the DPRK.

Such confrontational hysteria as sanctions and pressure upon the DPRK will only invite merciless retaliation and punishment.
