A vice-president of the Council of State who is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC), Jose Ramon Balaguer, head of the International Department of the C.C., CPC, and a vice foreign minister laid a large floral basket before the picture of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in the name of the people, Communist Party and government of Cuba, and paid tribute to them.

The vice president of the Council of State lauded Kim Jong Il as the great leader of the Korean people who devoted his all to the country and revolution.

He said:

Though Comrades Kim Jong Il and Fidel Castro Ruz passed away, their great ideas and exploits will remain forever in the minds of not only the Korean people and Cuban people but also the progressives.

The friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries provided and developed by the preceding leaders will grow stronger under the deep care of Comrades Kim Jong Un and Raul Castro Ruz.

I send greetings to the party, government and people of the DPRK who are extending support and solidarity to the struggle of the Cuban people in the international arena.

The head of the International Department of the C.C., CPC said that the party, government and people of Cuba would invariably support the just cause of the party, government and people of the DPRK in the future, too.
