The president in his reply message expressed sincere thanks to Kim Jong Un on behalf of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the government and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic and on his own behalf for sending warm congratulations and the best wishes to the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the government and people of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (LPDR) and him on the occasion of the 41st founding anniversary of the LPDR.

The message expressed the belief that the traditional and good relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow strong in conformity with the wishes of the peoples of the two countries so as to bring substantial benefits to the peoples of the two countries and make contributions to ensuring peace in the region and the world and boosting the relations of friendship and cooperation.

The message wished Kim Jong Un good health and happiness and bigger successes in his noble work.
