On display in the venue of the meeting were photos showing the careers and exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and revolutionary activities of the respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

There were also photos introducing the reality of the DPRK rapidly developing under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK).

Present at the meeting were personages and members of the United Left Party, the Motherland Party for All, Military University, the Foreign Ministry, the Sucre Foundation and other units of Venezuela and the DPRK ambassador to this country and staff members of his embassy.

The general secretary of the Motherland Party for All said that Kim Jong Il formulated the Juche idea founded by Kim Il Sung as the guiding idea of the WPK and set an example for socialist construction.

He defended the socialist cause through his energetic ideo-theoretical activities and great revolutionary practices and gave victorious confidence to the world revolutionary people struggling for independence and justice, the general secretary added.

The director general for Asian, Mid-east and Oceanian Affairs of the Foreign Ministry expressed the deepest respects to Kim Jong Il, eternal leader of the Korean people, saying that the proud achievements made in the DPRK are a brilliant fruition of his devoted efforts.
