Anniversary of Kim Jong Il's Demise Observed by Foreign Media
Pyongyang, December 29 (KCNA) -- Media of different countries gave special write-ups to the 5th anniversary of demise of leader Kim Jong Il between Dec. 1 and 16.

The Tanzanian newspaper Uhuru allotted one whole page to an article titled "Comrade Kim Jong Il, eternal leader of the Korean people" illustrated with a portrait of his smiling image.

The paper noted that though Kim Jong Il passed away, he is always alive in the hearts of the Korean people, adding he had made a ceaseless journey of devotion for the country and people in his lifetime.

The Indian newspaper Indian and World Event allotted two whole pages to an article titled "Leader Kim Jong Il will be alive forever" illustrated with his photo.

The article said that the world lost the most prominent great man with sudden demise of Kim Jong Il.

Kim Jong Il developed in depth the Juche idea, the Songun idea founded by President Kim Il Sung, father of socialist Korea and pioneer of the cause of independence, it said, adding:

He consistently set independence, peace and friendship as the fundamental idea of the DPRK's external activities and paid deep attention to building an independent, new world.

He will always live in the minds of the Korean people and the world progressives.

The Iranian news Ilna introduced in detail the revolutionary career and exploits of Kim Jong Il.

The Guinean newspaper Horoya allotted one whole page to an article titled "Whole life for the people" illustrated with a photo of Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp to praise his whole life for the country and people.

Meanwhile, the Guinean Domestic, International and seven National Languages Broadcasting Services aired the exploits of Kim Jong Il who provided the eternal foundation for the country's prosperity and the Guinean Renaissance Broadcasting Service conveyed detailed data about the ardent admiration of the people for Kimjongilia.
