Present at the meeting were KPA Vice Marshal Hwang Pyong So, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), vice-chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK and director of the KPA General Political Bureau, Army General Ri Yong Gil, minister of the People's Armed Forces, commanding officers of the KPA, officials and innovators in fisheries under the KPA.

Hwang Pyong So said in a report that this year has been the days of merits when legendary tales about the fishing were created.

He went on:

Respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un has energetically led the People's Army to make the flames of fishing revolution more furiously rage in the van of the all-out onward campaign for the final victory.

Officials and fishermen in fisheries under the People's Army made big fish hauls by waging an active fishing campaign.

It is the most brilliant review of the fishing campaign this year that nothing would be impossible to achieve for the officials and fishermen who uphold the campaign order issued by the Party with absolute belief that its determination means science and practice and if they do as instructed by it, the miracle of creating the history of big fish haul will be wrought.

The reporter called for a more dynamic fishing campaign to make another fish hauls under the guidance of Kim Jong Un next year.

Speakers referred to the successes, experience and lessons drawn from consolidating the material and technical foundation for fishing and fishery stations in the past period and preparing fishermen to be all-round ones.

They expressed their resolve to make big fish hauls in the new year, too.

At the end of the meeting, the standings of units of various levels in fisheries under the People's Army in the socialist fishing campaign this year were decided and silk banner were awarded to the excellent units.
