Celebration performances were given at theatres here by national art troupes.

At a concert given by the National Symphony Orchestra at Moranbong Theatre, artistes represented the profound thanks of the service personnel and people to respected Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un who is making a new history of victory of the Songun revolution while fully demonstrating the might of Kim Il Sung's and Kim Jong Il's Korea.

Performances were also given in Kangwon, South Hamgyong and other provinces.

On the same day, officials and working people of institutions at various levels in Pyongyang and local areas, industrial establishments and farms enjoyed art performances and had sports games such as basketball, volleyball and table-tennis, revving up the festive atmosphere.
