The Park group put the media under its control and disbanded the Unified Progressive Party through conspiratorial politics and campaign for eliminating the "forces following the north" and sentenced a lawmaker to nine years in prison for the mere reason that he gave a lecture on the situation, it pointed out, adding:

If such campaign is allowed to persist, such an abnormal situation under which a "presidential candidate" from an opposition party is groundlessly branded as a "spy linked to the north" will repeat itself.

It is necessary to condemn the above-said campaign of the authorities and intensify the struggle against it in the new year, too, in order to lead the candlelight action to victory and consolidate the successes.
