On display at the venues of the events were photos showing the revolutionary exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and revolutionary activities of respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un.

Also displayed there were their works, and books, photos, stamps and handicrafts.

Korean films introducing Kim Il Sung University and Kim Jong Il's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp were shown.

Present at the events were Russian figures of different social standings and officials of the DPRK mission in Russia.

The first secretary of the Amur Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the chairman of the Maritime Territorial Branch of the All-Russia War Veterans' Social Organization "Militant Fraternity", the chairman of the Maritime Territorial Branch of the Youth Guards which is the All-Russia public organization under the United Russia Party, and the director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism praised Kim Jong Il as a peerless patriot, great son of the people who devoted his all to the prosperity of the country and happiness of its people and outstanding statesman revered by the whole world.

A daughter of Ya. T. Nobichenko, an internationalist soldier, said the relations between President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and her father and family were the unbreakable blood ties.

The chairman of the Maritime Territorial Preparatory Committee of Russia for 2017 Meeting Praising Great Persons of Mt. Paektu said that Kim Jong Il will always be remembered by the peoples of the two countries as he made a great contribution to the development of the traditional Russia-DPRK friendly relations.

The secretary of the Nakhodka City Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation extended invariable support and solidarity to the Korean people in their drive to dynamically push forward the building of a powerful socialist country under the banner of Songun.
