Japan's Policy of Discriminating against Korean Schools in Japan under Fire
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- The Citizens' Council for Defending Our Schools and Children in south Korea held the 100th press conference outside the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on Dec. 30 last year and demanded the Japanese authorities withdraw the policy of discriminating against the Korean schools in Japan, according to the Yonhap News of south Korea.

The speakers accused the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan of sending a notice calling for the reexamination of the payment of subsidies to the Korean schools to the local self-governing bodies.

They also denounced the south Korean regime for cooperating with the Japanese authorities in their policy of suppressing and discriminating against the Korean schools by keeping mum about the discrimination against them and pressurizing Koreans in Japan to "change their nationality".
