Choe Ryong Hae Visits Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex

Pyongyang, January 6 (KCNA) -- Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the C.C., Workers' Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, made a field survey of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex which launched a new year campaign of innovation in production.

Going round various production processes of the complex, he learned about the production of heavy rails to be sent to the Hyesan-Samjiyon broad-gauge railway construction site and gave pep-talks to its workers bringing about production surge.

Then followed a consultative meeting, which stressed the importance of the complex's duty in sprucing up Samjiyon County and discussed the matters for party and working people's organizations to make effort to speed up the production of heavy rails.
