The message said that the ANC had led to victory the protracted struggle of the South African people to oppose colonialism and put an end to the apartheid after its foundation.

It wished the ANC bigger successes in its work for the country's independent development and prosperity, expressing belief that the friendly relations between the WPK and the ANC, established in the struggle for independence against imperialism, would grow stronger in the interests of the peoples of the two countries.
