Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Members of organizations in south Korea called a press conference in Seoul on Jan. 5 in denunciation of the puppet authorities' crackdown on the representative of the "Worker's Book," according to the south Korean internet paper Chamsesang. In July last year, the fascist police searched the house of the representative and confiscated books and the railway trade union's documents. And the puppet prosecution requested a warrant of arrest for the representative on charges of possession of "enemy-benefiting literature" this year. Speakers at the conference charged the arrest of the representative as a "witch hunt" staged by Hwang Kyo An. They stressed that such act should never be tolerated as suppression of freedom of political activities, thinking and expression by invoking an evil law. |
