Coal Production Goes Up in DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 7 (KCNA) -- Coal miners are increasing the production from the beginning of this year, in hearty response to the New Year Address made by respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un. According to data available at the Ministry of Coal Industry, they produced over 22 000 more tons of coal as of January 5, as compared with against the same period of last year. Taking the lead in this campaign are the Sunchon Area Youth Coal-mining Complex and Tokchon, Pukchang, Tukjang, Kaechon, Anju, Kangdong and Hamnam area coal mining complexes. |
