After Ju Yong Gil, chairman of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, made a speech, the participants began running toward Mansudae Street and the Pyongyang Grand Theatre, divided into two groups.

The group running, a demonstration of the militant might and unity of the collective, added to the elated atmosphere of the city.

In the wake of group running, there were mass rhythmic exercise and Taekwon-do exercise for health.

Meanwhile, diverse sports events were held at industrial establishments in Pyongyang, including the Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill and the Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex.

Similar events took place in provinces, cities and counties of the country.
