11th All-People Action Staged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- The 11th all-people action for the ouster of the Park Geun Hye regime was reportedly staged across south Korea on January 7. More than 645,000 people took part in the action staged under the sponsorship of the People's Emergency Action for the Resignation of Park Geun Hye Regime ahead of 1,000 days since the ferry Sewol tragedy. At least 600,000 people conducted a candlelight action in Seoul. The People's Committee for Investigating the April 16 Ferry Sewol Tragedy was formed with due ceremony. A candlelight rally took place at Kwanghwamun Plaza. Similar actions were staged in all parts of south Korea. South Korean media including Yonhap News, Hangyore, OhmyNews, Seoul Economic Daily and Newsis reported about the actions that day in detail. |
